But as the year has progressed I’ve found myself confronted with one of the harshest of realities that I can’t get past: Canadian podcasting might be stuck in the same death spiral as all of our other forms of homegrown media and arts.

Canadian podcasters are spending thousands of USD and EUR on entering awards, attending ceremonies, and on duty fees for trophies.
